The world is based on five essential elements: Fire, Air, Water, Earth, and the Universe. It associates with each of them a regular polyhedron that can be inscribed in a sphere. All its faces are isometric regular polygons: all sides are the same length and all angles are the same measure. There are five, and only five, with such properties: the tetrahedron, the octahedron, the icosahedron, the cube, and the dodecahedron. Today, they are called "The Platonic Solids."
